For FM site evaluations we met over zoom to discuss H&Ps, pharm cards, and journal articles. At the first site visit I presented an H&P from a patient complaining of headache, neck pain, shoulder pain, and back pain after an MVC 12 days earlier. I thought it was a good example of the musculoskeletal exam and workup for a patient with multiple injuries after an MVC. I also presented 5 pharm cards about various medications that were prescribed often throughout my FM rotation.

At the second site visit I presented another H&P, a journal article, and more pharm cards. I presented a patient who was following up after a burn injury that occurred at work. At the follow up visit the burn was healing well however during the exam a nodule suspected to be a ganglion cyst was observed during the physical exam. I also presented a journal article about aspiration and steroid injection for treatment of ganglion cysts.
